In 1968 a group of friends decided, over a drink, to travel overland around the world.
So started for me a three year adventure

1968-12-10 A troubled Start
We are ready to go but there is a false start. When we finally get away and arrive at the starting point we discover that the modern coach that was to take us to India is an old wreck. We get aborad and with crunching gears struggle to Dover.

1968-12-15 Riding an ailing coach to Istanbul
The coach has trouble getting into gear. The heaters do not work and the radiator boils and loses water with every hill. We struggle through Europe, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
